Sydney is a world-class city so it should come as no surprise that it's a premier destination for conferences, conventions and exhibitions. Business Events Sydney facilitates the planning of these massive events by helping connect international clients with suppliers in the industry.
Reactive won the bid to overhaul their entire digital presence and I had the fortunate privilege to collaborate with designer Chris Halaska. The unfortunate part was that he would be leaving a few weeks after the project started. We were able to mitigate the design risks by developing an in-browser style guide. In doing so, we could work on the "look and feel" of modules without being tied down to any particular page designs. Even after cycling through several different designers the details of the original art direction can still be recognized on the live site, a testament to the work we did early on.
